Congratulations goes out to Peter Temple for scooping up another award for his outstanding novel Truth. This time he has pocketed the ABIAs General Fiction Book of the Year.
Truth’s amazing success has started a flurry of conversations in the book world about what this means for the crime novel. Has Truth opened the door for genre novels to win major awards, or is this simply, first and foremost, a brilliant literary novel? You can read some of the opinions here and here.
We’ll leave it for others to duke this one out, we just think the book is great.
And a massive thanks to our friends at Berkelouw Books for their support and wonderful window display.
